CHURCH HISTORY

On May 2, 1981, at the end of a visionary encounter that lasted about eighteen hours, God opened the eyes of the Presiding Bishop of this commission - Bishop David Oyedepo and he saw a roll of afflicted, battered, beaten, tattered, deformed and all that one could ever imagine, groaning and agonizing, as a result of pains and pangs, crying as it were, for rescue.
He was so moved with compassion that he began to sob profusely and asked, 'Why Lord?'. In an unmistaken voice, he heard the Lord say to him, 'But from the beginning it was not so'.
He questioned further, 'But why Lord?' and then came the mandate that is the bedrock of this commission: 'The hour has come to liberate the world from all oppression of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith, and I am sending you to undertake this task'.

Testimonies

I joined Winners Chapel in February 2018. I was Muslim for 56 years until last year that I joined this church where I began to value the word, reading the Bible and listening to all the messages in church and also went out for operations by all means. I dreamt that I have to do one week fasting and prayer. I began on Monday and the day I was ending these seven days fasting, the church announced another week of prayer and fasting also, and so I joined. The first day of the fast, on Monday, I received a call that the R2,000,000.00 (two million Rands) I owed has been cancelled. By implication my business will be saved without a monthly loan payment stress planned for duration of 15 years.

I joined this commission on the 2nd of August 2009,battered, scattered, staying in a one room with my 10-month-old baby. I came from a family of ten, where you can’t trace anything good from my family; no one has ever driven/owned a car. After joining this commission, I followed every instruction coming from the altar, to God be the Glory, God has turned my story around, I am now blessed with a car and my life is moving from Glory to Glory.

I was tested HIV positive since 2009, I started taking ARVs in 2016 and I became very sick, with low blood, short breath, swollen glands, kidney problems, headaches, arthritis and others. I joined this church 21st September 2018 and I have never regretted since I joined. The theme of the month I joined was I WILL RESTORE HEALTH UNTO YOU, I keyed into it and was serving God day and night in the church. When operation by all means was flagged off by Papa, I dived into it, praying and going out to win souls day and night. I just decided to go for check up last week (2nd week of July) and the result says I am now HIV NEGATIVE. Serving God truly pays
